Measuring for Your Jeans

How Take Measurements for Your Jeans

To ensure the perfect fit and utmost comfort, we recommend providing both measurements. However, if you prefer, you can choose one of the following methods:

1. Measure from your existing jeans: If you have a favorite pair, choose a rigid (non-stretchy) one to measure from for accurate results.

2. Measure from your body: Alternatively, provide your body measurements directly for a precise fit.

By combining these measurements, we can ensure that your custom-made jeans are tailored to your exact specifications, delivering a fit that's both comfortable and flattering.

To measure your old jeans, follow these steps:

1. Waist:

Lay the jeans flat, aligning the front and back top of the waistband. Measure the top of the waistband, double the measurement, and add 1 cm for side curves.

2. Front rise:

Measure from the top of the waistband to the crotch seam on the front of the jeans.

3. Hip:

Take half of the front rise length and mark it. Measure the width of the hip from that point, ensuring no folded fabric on the back side.

4. Back Rise:

Measure from the top of the waistband to the crotch seam on the back of the jeans.

5. Thigh:

Place the tape measure at the crotch and measure across the fabric to the side, ensuring no folded fabric on the back side.

6. Knee:

Measure the knee width by placing the tape measure from side to side across the fabric at knee level, starting from the top of the outseam for accuracy.

7. Hem:

Spread out the hem to remove any folds or bunching. Measure the width along the edge of the hem.

8. Outseam:

Measure from the crotch to the bottom of the jeans along the outer seam.

To measure your body, please follow these steps:
  1. Waist: Measure around the natural waistline, which is the narrowest part of your waist.

  2. Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape measure parallel to the floor.

  3. Inseam: Measure from the crotch to the desired length of the jeans. This is typically the length from the crotch to the length of your favorite pair of jeans.

  4. Thigh: Measure around the upper part of your thigh, starting from the groin area and wrapping the tape measure around the fullest part of your thigh.

  5. Knee: Measure around the circumference of your knee

  6. .Calf: Measure around the fullest part of your calf.Ankle: Measure around the narrowest part of your ankle.Rise: Measure from the front waistline (where you measured the waist) over the crotch to the back waistline.

  7. Outseam: Measure from the natural waistline to the desired length of the jeans.Additional Measurements: If you have any specific requests or measurements you would like to provide, such as a custom rise or leg width, be sure to include those as well. It's important to use a fashion measuring tape as it provides flexibility and accuracy in capturing your body measurements.
